Marina Gulak, M.s., CCC-SLP

Marina received her bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from Rutgers University and graduated from New York University with a master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has worked with a variety of pediatric, adolescent, and adult clients in schools and clinical settings, including individuals diagnosed with language disorders/delay, articulation-phonological disorders, apraxia of speech, social pragmatic disorder, traumatic brain injury, dysarthria, and cognitive-communication disorders. In addition to her clinical practice, Marina works as an adjunct professor in the Linguistics Department at Rutgers University. 


Marina is dedicated to building trusting and collaborative relationships with her clients to ensure therapy is meaningful to each individual's interests and goals. Therapy programs are designed to ensure skills learned in therapy are carried over in home and community settings. During sessions, Marina utilizes a variety of evidence-based practice methods while keeping clients engaged in fun and motivating interactions. Marina also collaborates with educational and medical professionals to ensure goals and approaches are aligned in a way to best support her client's needs.


Marina is also passionate about improving client access to resources as well as supporting families in advocating for their loved ones. She has successfully obtained and implemented augmentative and assistive technology (AAC) devices for students. Marina also provides consultation services to school districts through staff member training and academic modification recommendations to facilitate success in the educational setting.


Marina is an American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certified speech-language pathologist licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey. She holds certification as a Speech-Language Specialist to work in New Jersey schools. Marina is PROMPT trained.  

In her free time, Marina enjoys spending time with friends, exploring new places to eat, and relaxing with a good book.
